Most leaders think leadership = being in front.
It doesn’t.
Real leadership moves.
I call it 360° Leadership.
A great leader doesn’t stay in one position, they shift depending on what the team needs.
In front → You create direction
You show the way and model the behavior
Inside → You build trust
You step in, contribute, and deliver with the team
By the side → You enable others
You support, coach, and remove obstacles
Behind → You create space
You trust the team and ensure no one falls behind
The usual mistake?
Staying in just one role.
Always in front → micromanagement
Always inside → lack of direction
Always beside → dependency
Always behind → chaos
Leadership is not a position.
It’s awareness and asking yourself “Where does my team need me right now?”.
That’s the real question.
